A delightful story with captivating illustrations!
I wanted a book to teach my young granddaughter about the story of the Trapp Family Singers--this book satisfied that need plus it has additional Trapp Family facts for the curious adults in the house. Beautiful illustrations.

This book gives the full story of the Von Trapp Family singers. The simple verses are good for young children and older ones can learn from the historical notes on each page. The illustrations are charming.
Got this for my 4 nieces for Christmas after they watched "The Sound of Music" and loved it! Illustrations were BEAUTIFUL! The rhyming scheme and Alphabet focus was great for the younger girls, and the more detailed history on the side columns of the pages appealed more to the older girls. Was very pleased with this purchase. :)
