Large size print and only a few pages not worth the money that was spent on it.

Excellent information. As an esthetician, I wish all my clients could read this book. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to understand how to care for their skin.

I found this little book to be a well written guide for all women when dealing with aging skin and choices available to all. With an underlying humorous, yet serious tone, the author directs anyone, from novice to studied skin care consumers, toward the safest, least invasive but effective methods to deal with the aging process on our skin. So glad to have had the opportunity to benefit from this easy to read, and direct advice on Esthetician services available as well as the best practices to look for.

I have always been interested in how to minimiE the aging process of my skin without taking drastic, expensive and invasive measures. This book was very informative in what I can look for from a good esthetician. It was informative, easy to read and well written for those of us interested in taking care of our skin.

Had everything I needed and didn't know I needed to know about products - ones that work, why they work and ones that I shouldn't waste my time on! Finally an easy to read book with valuable straight forward information on skin care!

It's still winter here in Michigan, but there's something lovely about daydreaming about putting in this year's garden. To be honest, I neglected mine the past couple of years and it's time for a fresh start so when this book became available, I clicked accept about as fast as I ever have.This book is filled with a ton of useful information and absolutely gorgeous photos. Honestly, it's the type of book that some people may pick up just for the photos. Don't overlook the information though! It's already given me some great ideas for my beds this year and I know that before I start collecting up what I need, I'll be diving back into the pages to see what other information and ideas I may have missed. After all, I don't want to pick up something that drives bees away by mistake! Know how I'll avoid that pitfall? There's a section on it in the book!So, gardeners, bee lovers, flower lovers and nature lovers...pick up a copy of this book and start planning your own gardens!

For the beginner or the adept this book has something to offer. Geared towards those in the United States of America you can find just about any type of information you are looking for. Want to know what types of flowers it takes to attract a certain bee - okay. Want to know which plants will grow best in your area, from ground-cover to herb to shrub or tree, that also support bees - done. For example, if you are looking to liven up your front yard but have to keep it within the requirements of your homeowners association there are excellent recommendations for plants that stay neat and tidy yet bloom for the bees.Perhaps you want a sprawling display throughout your backyard, just a small island of color, or a more functional boarder. The Bee-Friendly Garden addresses these and other needs with specific plant examples.Throughout the book you will find copious pictures which help you imagine what type of display you might best enjoy as well as understand what the recommended flowers actually look like! Speaking of flowers The Bee-Friendly Garden does a great job in using both common and botanical names - so not only can you recognize a specific name but you can take the botanical name to the nursery and be sure you are buying the correct cultivar.I was very pleased with the holistic approach of The Bee-Friendly Garden. This is a terrific book. The combination of authors bringing the science of pollinators and present paucity of pollinator-friendly plants in many gardens and practical planting ideas for creating a much better environment makes for an excellent resource. I've found to my dismay that some of my new plants are not pollinator friendly plants, but I'm finding lots of other plants that will improve the ecology of my garden.Don't miss this book. It is the next step for those who have read The Living Landscape: Designing for Beauty and Biodiversity in the Home Garden and have learned that some plants added to a garden act like statues--not contributing to the local ecology. No more statues, long live the pollinators, birds, soil, and the many other forms of life we can invite into our gardens.

Very Informative book.. Biggest issue, the font size is very small, and there is a lot of white space on the pages. Why not increase the font size to make it easier to read? and Some pictures should have been enlarged. There is a lot of wasted white space in this book, that could have been used.

I bought this book for my daughter because she is concerned about the bee population. Using this book, she has started a pollinator garden for the bees and the butterflies. Great book with lots of good information. Happy I got it for because she loves the book and all the wonderful information and photographs.

I was fortunate to listen to one of the authors, Kate Frey on a local radio garden talk explain the importance of bees.She is very well known for her landscaping career. Then, to bring this all together in such an easy-to-use book is a win-win for all! Very well worth the cost, which was kept very low. And beautiful !

A wonderful guide with great examples of plants that lure bees to your garden. Hummingbirds too! I am going to pass this book on to my new neighbor as a housewarming present.

Nice starter book for beekeepers learning to garden as well as beginning gardeners.

Read this book cover to cover. Enjoyed it and I like the fact it was easy to read and interesting. It can also be used as a reference and a coffee table book it is so pretty. Purchased a 2nd copy as a gift.
