Update: I got a replacement from Amazon that is not misprinted (though I'm 99% sure someone else read it and returned it because the spine is soft). Glad to have it, because I was missing a lot of detail in many of the pictures.I love the story, but I'm trying to contact the publisher to see if I got a bad copy. I'm including picutres, but if you look at the cover and the first half of the book are crooked. It doesn't effect the ability to read it much, but it bothers me. I've also included some pictures of pages inside so you can see how it looks like they are improperly cropped. Am I the only one with this, or are these badly printed?

I'm in love with this series, Twilight Princess has always been my favorite game so finding this was amazing. You dont even need to be a zelda fan to read it. It's written so well anyone can jump into it, also the artwork is impeccable.. super excited for more!

I've loved the Legend of Zelda series since the original game, which I played as a kid. The Twilight Princess game was a great gritty and realistic (or as realistic as a fantasy game can get) telling of a Legend of Zelda game. This manga is a great retelling of that game. It gives a bit of back story to each of the characters that was missing from the game and provides Link a bit of depth that is lost in the game due to his being a silent character (that's right Link finally found his voice). While I'm sure that the game's story writers didn't originally see the story in this way (while I'm sure they approved after seeing this view), I'm sure that they would change it to be more like this. I strongly suggest this series for any Legend of Zelda fan.

Overview: My 8 year old likes these. They are in Manga format, meaning that you start reading them from the back of the book and move to the front (by USA standards of reading). There is no real issue with them as follow the story line of the games, for the most part. But I do not find them to be exciting and my kid would rather read his X Story Tree House series more.Pros: If you, or your kids, follow the Zelda universe, it is definitely a must have to complete your collection. There are elements of the books which are not in the games.Cons: It feels like your standard Manga type reading material and the story lines are not all that engaging. But I love Zelda and my kid likes to be a part of things I like.

Very good story with some killer cliffhangers. This is the first Zelda manga Himekawa has done that's longer than 2 volumes and I'm absolutely losing my mind waiting for these to wrap up!Only reason this one get's a 4-star rating is because I think Himekawa is focusing too much on gameplay elements in some areas rather than story (e.g., howling stones, the lantern sales guy, etc.). That stuff didn't need to make it into the manga and is just unnecessary padding at this point.

Great book. Love the story. It is so nice to really see the inner thoughts and dialogue of Link and Minda beyond the original game. Holds true to the storyline so if you loved the game, like I do, then you need to read this series.

It's very interesting to see the direction that Himekawa is going with this particular story. I wasn't expecting a verbatim retelling of the game, but the new aspects that are being introduced in each volume is making me love the world and the story of Twilight Princess all over again. And I find it doubly interesting that Himekawa is already over the amount of volumes they've done for prior games like Ocarina of Time. And Himekawa's art style is so pleasing to look at.

I don't think that the Twilight princess manga has ended because Link still hasn't fought Ganon yet. I kinda have some mixed feelings about this being a longer akira himekawa zelda manga since all the others are either in one or two parts but I like how the story is taking its time so the manga can reflect the darker tones of the game in writing and not just in art style. This is definetly their highest quality in terms of the drawings compared to the others. I also like that this Link, compared to other manga Link's is not cartoonishly good. At first, hes a guy who makes mistakes and isn't super courageous but then he becomes a hero as opposed to him just being told "You're a hero" and suddenly he can do anything without fear and is just a cookie cutter good boy. I think my only problem is that if this manga gets longer than 5 or 6 parts then I don't know that I'll be able to buy all of them. Honestly tho, keep up the good work Akira!

This is a childrens book inspired by the contemporary Christian worship song "Good, Good Father."The book follows a little bear along in a plot to offer a gift to the King of the land so that he can get the King to help his friends. Along the way many offer him ideas of what the King would like and which tell us a little about the King. The bear gets confused about who the King really is but continues on his way to give the King a gift. Upon meeting the King, the bear discovers that the King is a good father to whom he can always go and will always delight and enjoy being with him.The book has an important biblical message for all of us of the open arms of God presented in a warm way that children can grasp.I am a pastor reviewing this children's book and I loved the basic message of the book. The illustrations are good. The only criticism I have is that it seems a weird plot line to me personally that Tucker, the bear, feels the need to bribe the King with a gift to receive His help. That part is a little awkward for me personally connecting with the plotline but aside from that, it is a good book with a good message.

This book is well-written, easy to read aloud, and brightly illustrated. The parallels between the King and God are not vague. Chris Tomlin and Pat Barrett did a great job telling the story of a little bear who wants to know what the King is like. Immersive and entertaining, Good Good Father allows parents and their children to discover that, not only is God the King, He is also the Good, Good Father indeed.My kids love this book, and request it every night for bedtime reading. If you are looking for a book that will engage your kids in a discussion about the Father, I strongly recommend Good Good Father. 5 stars indeed!!!

I purchased this book as well as the board book version. Based on a Chris Tomlin song, these books tell a very special story of love. It is now on my top ten list of truly GREAT stories to read to the littles in my life!Too often in our world, our kids get caught up in cartoons - both books and video/video games - with too much violence and not enough love and kindness (in my opinion as a long time educator). If you want to expose your kiddos to a sweet message of love with beautiful artwork, this is a great one to grab!

It's a cute story. Those of us who know the song can appreciate the nuance of how privileged we are that Jesus revealed God as the good Father to us. For the child who doesn't know Jesus, however, it's only a cute story about a figure who could be easily confused with their Daddy. So in spite of the cute, I found it lacking in telling my 3 and 4 year olds anything that could feed their spirit. Which is the only reason I purchased this book.

We haven't actually read the book yet but I would say the earliest age a child would be interested in this book might be around 8. The cover is a little deceiving on the age frame. I had thought it might be more for young children, but I doubt my age 6 grandson who is very much into science would be able to sit through the stories and find them interesting.

Incredible book! Such a great illustration of how God loves us, and how when we come to Him, He runs to welcome us and is eager to help us. Bought one as a children's gift. Then, after reading it, bought 1 for myself - to remind me of my Father's constant love - not based on my performance or anything I can give Him but on His abundant, freely given, love for me. I actually read it to my college-age son, and he was touched. So I bought one for him for Christmas and told him it was to remind him of God's unconditional love for him - and that one day he could read it to his own children.

I ordered this book after listening to the radio and hearing the author give a brief run down of the first part of it. I just had to know the ending.... I read the whole book and it is now one of my favorite children's books. I will be buying for any baby showers I go to in the future
